He nods as he sipped his Mocha as he looks through his papers.

Lani came back over to the table, dumping her bag to the floor and sitting back down."So I didn't get your name. I'm Lani."
"Oh, sorry I forgot abouts intros. I'm Josh."
"Hi, Josh. Nice to meet you." Lani said holding out her hand for him to shake. She smiled.
he shook it before setting his hand back down on the table."so how long have you been at school for?" he asked as he sipped his mocha.
"I'm just starting. How long have you been here for, that is if you don't mind me ask...?" Lani said picking up her mug and taking a sip of the lukewarm liquid.
"Oh that's cool. I'm a little nervous to be honest. I'm living on the off campus college apartments, looking for a roommate actually. The rent is outrageously high." She said laughing.
He thought for a moment."I have a friend who's looking for a room mate too. Her name is Elizabeth."
"Oh really? Oh that's awesome! Does she already have a place, or is she looking for one?" Lani asked pulling out a piece of paper and writing down her info on it for Josh to take and give to his friend.
"I think she's looking for one." He says with a smile.

(( alrii bye! ))"Okay..." he says almost confusingly but shurgged.
Samantha walked into the cafe, and got in the ridiculously long line to order the coffee she desperately needed.
Lani pushed open the door letting out a sigh as the caffeinated air filled her lungs."Oh god that smells amazing!" She said walking over to the counter where Nick was fixing a few espressos.
"Hey Nick." Lani said blushing a little when he smiled over at her.
"Why hello there, Lani. Long time no see." Lani let out a giggle, leaning against the counter, looking into the glass display for something yummy to nibble on.
"What are you talking about? I was just here, like, this afternoon." He shrugged.
"Well what can I say. I missed ya." He said with a wink. Lani's breath left her and she felt her heart begin to speed up uncontrollably.
"I uh," Lani shook her head and smiled. "could I get a nonfat latte, extra foam?" Nick nodded, smiling. Which showed a nice set of dimples.
"Coming right up." Lani thanked him and went over finding herself a table and sat down, letting out a sigh. She didn't know how long she sat there for, it felt like forever before Nick got her Latte done.
"Sorry it took so long. The machines been acting up today for some reason." Lani shrugged.
"No biggie. Thanks for bring it to me." Nick laughed crossing his arms lazily.
"Well you look tired and I didn't want you collapsing and falling to the ground. It would be hard to catch you if I were behind the counter." Lani nearly chocked on her drink, but after a few throaty coughs it got better.
"Are you alright?" Lani smiled, nodding.
"Yeah, thanks." Nick smiled back, feeling a little bad for surprising her like he did.
"Well I got to get back. I'll see you later, okay." Lani nodded thanking him again for the coffee, then just sat back and relaxed enjoying her latte.

Lani let out a yawn, stretching her arms above her head and smacking her lips a little. There was a chuckle from behind her so she glanced over her shoulder out of curiosity. And what she saw made her eyes grow wide."Tired?" Lani nearly fell out of her chair when she let out a yelp of surprise.
"I uh," Lani let out a sigh when she saw that he was smiling, looking very sure of himself. "yeah I'm tired. I've had a long day." He let out another chuckle.
"Yeah you look it. I'm Will Anderson." He held out his hand to shake. Lani took it.
"Hi. I'm Lani."
"Such a cute name for such a cute girl. It suits you well." Lani felt her cheeks start to burn quite a bit, she bowed her head so that he would not see.
He let out a sigh, "Well I got to go. Nice meeting you, Lani. I hope to see you again very soon." Lani nodded, then let out a gasp not believing what she just did.
"Nice meeting you to." They said their goodbyes and Will got up and left. Leaving his trash on the table. Lani rolled her eyes picking up his trash and taking it to the trash can, dumping it. She wiped off her hands and walked back over to her table. She drank the rest of her latte and then left for her apartment. Lani was looking forward to a long shower and a few hours in front of the TV set watching her favorite shows. Lani couldn't stop herself from wondering if Josh ever gave his friend the piece of paper with her name and number. Only time would tell...
Finally she got to the front of the line. "Hi." she smiled to a cute guy behind the counter, "Could I get a nonfat latte, extra foam?" she asked.
"Sure coming right up!" Nick said as he began to make her drink. He pulled and stirred all that need to be and had over her nonfat latte, extra foam."Here you go. Enjoy!"
Ariana was sitting on one of the lounge chairs, sipping her black coffee and eating a muffin while surfing the web.
"Thank you." she smiled, looking at him for a moment. "You look familiar... Are you majoring in music by any chance?"
Yes, yes I am. How did you know?" Nick asked helping another costumer, his ear open.
"Lucky guess." she smiled. "I'm majoring in it also."
Nick let out a laugh. "Oh I haven't seen you in any of my classes. Who's your professor?" He asked grabbing a blueberry muffin from the display case and handing it off to a nervous little freshmen...
"Asher." He said letting out a sigh, grabbing a bottle of water from below the counter and taking a drink. He wiped his mouth off with the back of his hand, then smiled."He's really cool. I'm liking his class a lot. So hows Stevenson? Hows he working out for ya? Learning anything interesting? I had him last year." Nick said picking up a rag and wiping down the counter.
"He's pretty laid back, but we haven't really covered anything major in the past week. But we're doing some Shakespeare next month I think." Samantha said.
Nick nodded as he clicked a few keys on the register and handed a guy back his change. "Yeah I remember that about him. I'm actually kind of happy that I don't have him this year..."
"And how's Asher?" she asked. "I hear he's really strict."
Nick shrugged. "Yeah I guess, but I like a challenge." Nick said smiling, wiggling his eyebrows. Nick laughed. "Well you know when I had Stevenson I didn't feel like I was being challenge that much. But with Asher it's a whole other story."
"I liked being challenged too." she laughed. "I just feel sorry for the clueless in the class that don't understand Shakespeare."
Nick nodded his head in a rush, agreeing with her totally. "Totally! I mean I'm one that thinks that if you don't know Shakespeare then you really haven't lived your life to the fullest," Nick blushed, bowing his head in embarrassment. "I know that sounds weird, but that's how I've felt for, like, ever." Nick smiled a little.
"Really?" she grinned. "Me too! I started reading it in fifth grade, A Midsummer Nights Dream."
"Oh cool so did I! Well I didn't read it in fifth grade. I was going through my sports phase when I was that age. I read it in seventh grade." He said blushing a little, smiling. He held his hand over the counter."I'm Nick by the way. Sorry when I start talking about Shakespeare I forget my manners."
"I can totally understand that." she smiled, shaking his hand. "I'm Samantha. I hated sports when I was in fifth grade, I would always get knocked in my head with something." she laughed
Nick laughed, after shaking her hand and pulling it back behind the counter."Yeah I feel that way now. I'm not so big on sports anymore, but I love to play soccer." He said smiling.
"So what do you do for fun? Anything interesting?" He asked.
"Actually, I was headed to the library to get Hamlet, would you like to come?" she asked.
He nodded, pulling off his apron. "Yeah sure. I got to go and grab some music books for class tomorrow. Asher has us doing some really interesting things with symbol. Hey, Janice!""What!" Janice screamed from the back. Nick smiled a little embarrassed at Janice screaming.
"I'm clocking out for lunch. I'll be back in an hour!" Janice let out a high sigh.
"Fine whatever just don't get back here late." Nick rolled his eyes.
"Alright." Nick walked around the counter his clothes covered in muffin dust.
"Oh crap this is great. These are my best black all stars!" He said bending down and dusting them off.
"Oh well anyway ready to go?" He asked.
Nick smiled back. "Alright lead the way." walking out into the scorching summer sun.

Nick let out a yawn as his work hour wined down and he was almost home free."Got any big plans tonight? Going to any parties that maybe I was forgotten to be invited to?" Janice said wiggling her eyebrows. Nick rolled his eyes.
"No, and a no to the next one." Janice glared at little bit at him and then laughed.
"Oh well what are your plans tonight?" Nick finished wiping down the counters.
"I got a lot of homework and I got a test tomorrow that I got to study for." Janice only shook her head.
"Dude you need to get a life, loosen up a bit." Nick let out a laugh, pulling off his apron.
"Oh yeah and be like you?"
"What's that suppose to mean!?" Janice said as she hand a steaming hot cup of coffee to a student.
"Oh I don't know maybe it means that your flunking almost every subject and you are this close," Nick said measuring a inch with his index finger and thumb. "to being kicked out."
Janice placed her hands on her hips and struck a pose. "For your information, Mister Pole. I have brought up my grades and am in the clear of being kicked out. So ha!" Nick only chuckled, shaking his head.
"Good, glad to hear it. Well I'll see ya monday." Janice narrowed her eyes.
"They give you the whole weekend off?" Nick nodded, looking very smug about it.
"Yep, bye!" He said moving around the counter, Janice sent him the finger and he could only laugh.
"Grow up, Janice."
"Never going to happen!" She yelled. He laughed some more and walked out into the humid night air, really not looking forward to the mountain of homework waiting for him.

Liz entered the cafe with her purse and books with her mini laptop. She stood at the counter ordering a hot chocolate. The rain had gotten the best of her, making her whole body shiver.
She looked at him, a faint smile on her face. "Hi...Shane, how are you?" she paid for her hot chocolate and waited as it was being prepared.
((IKR LOL!XD))She received her hot chocolate and nodded as she took a sip. "Sure..." she went over to a table and sat down, setting her books and everything she had with her on the table.
She nodded with a smile, although she wasn't sure what was going on with her and Josh still. "I do Shane... but I just...don't want to get mixed up in anything complicated."
She sighed and looked at him, "Shane, I like you a lot. I'm just very weary because my last date with Josh...he wanted to take things a lot further and it got a little out of hand...I'm just being careful." She sipped her cocoa again and looked at him, "I would definitely like to see you again..."
