Breathe is the only one I haven't read, to be honest. I started with Because of Low and no interest to go back. Marcus and Low were too good. So excited for Just for Now. Teaser was super steamy

Alright, clear something up for me, Fever series addicts...so the little steamy snippet from Barron's POV doesn't seem to fit the personality of him I've seen so far. He's a little impatient and insulting sure, but the Barrons who had his way with Mac in the short was like the sadistic Soren from The Siren!! Is there more to him that I'm not seeing yet??

I'm loving the book, I'm just curious if my opinion of him has been wrongly jaded! LOL

SKim-read, that way you'll feel like you read it but won't spend as much time on it! There are too many great books out there to waste time on ones you don't enjoy!! =)

Are you still on the 1st book? You have to dig further into the books to get the true feel of Barrons. I wouldn't call him sadistic. He's a fierce realist with a whole lotta "I dont give a fck what you think" oozing from him. He'd never hurt Mac though!

Hey, cut me some slack, I only started it a day and a half ago!! LOL The whole violent sex scene and bruising had whispers of Soren, so when I started reading and he's just kind of aloof and ogling her I was beginning to think that short was just to mislead the reader or something. I'm on pg. 200 right now, so I've gotten past her first horny scene with V'lane. Is Barrons some kind of supernatural or just a creepy human?? =)

Okay, so I quickly read and I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have, depending on how things go with this series! I totally fell for Daniel and am kind of loathing Soren right now! I love the alpha-male dom routine, but loaning off his woman to his friend is just...ugh. Why does she love this guy??!!

I more than liked it. It blew me away! If you like fantasy like this is a must. But book 1 and 2 are so different, they are both good but u have to read them both before you get to the real story.

Okay, well thank god b/c I was beginning to think you gals were pulling my leg!! I finished Darkfever, it was good but there was hardly any steaminess to it so I'm sitting here thinking "ummm, where exactly does this sex god come into play??" But if it gets hotter later on then that explains it; though, I probably should have just waited to read the short. LOL I'm taking a Julie James break and doing a beta read for Annie's latest then I'll get back to this series!

Crash was just okay for me, but Take this Regret and On the Island were great! Can't go wrong with either. Highly recommend getting to Mayfair after, b/c that series is AWESOME!!!
