"that sucks" she said and her arm began to pulse

"What's wrong with your arm?"

"nothing" she said putting it behind her back

"You know you can tell me right?"

she looked away then sighed putting her arm back in front of her."it's breaking"

"What do you mean 'breaking?'"

[Fiamata]

"Prof McGreggor told me once that to make sure the rechtor cannon continues to work it needs an endless supply of energy. the thing that is used to convert the energy though needs new parts once every month because the energy quickly errodes them"

[Zachman]

"Parts? You mean your body?!"

[Fiamata]

she shook her head "my body isn't used for the parts." she said she turned her arm into the rechtor cannon and pointed to a part "right there" the gears were beginning to rust

"Oh ok, good. I can fix that!"

[Fiamata]

"didn't you say you needed to learn more?"

[Zachman]

"Yeah, but this looks easy. I can get the gears from a friend down at the factory. We'll go tomorrow ok?"

[Fiamata]

she bit her lip "I don't want to go back there, its too risky"

[Zachman]

"Ok, I can go myself."

[Fiamata]

she nodded, but was uneasy.

[Zachman]

"I'll go after school."

[Fiamata]

"ok"

"It's getting late, we best be going to bed" he said setting out his blannket on the floor.

she turned the rechtor cannon back into her arm.then laid down on the bed

"Goodnight" Charles said before turning the light out.

she fell asleep almost instantly

[Zachman]

Charles laid down and fell asleep.

Jinx woke up in the middle of the night

[Zachman]

Charles woke up early, as usual, to get them breakfast. But this time Jinx was awake too. "Why are you up so early?"

she looked at him "why are you up?"

"To get us breakfast, like I always do."

[Fiamata]

"Oh" she said

[Zachman]

"So what are you doing up?"

[Fiamata]

"i was told to get up"

[Zachman]

"By who?"

[Fiamata]

"i was just told to, no one told me"

[Zachman]

"Your not making a lick of sense right now."

[Fiamata]

she looked at him, confused "You can't lick sense"

Charles laughed. "It's an expression!"

she frowned still not understanding

"Don't worry about it. I'll be right back" he said going to get them breakfast.

she just nodded and watched him

Charles came back a minute later with two plates of food. "Here" he said handing Jinx her plate.

"thanks" she said and began to eat

Charles sat down and began eating as well.

as she ate her arm began to throb more

Once Charles was finished eating, he grabbed his stuff for school.

she just sat on the bed and watched

"You best be getting ready too."

"I don't want to"
