jinx lost her breath again, becoming irritated as he began pressing different parts of her down into the floor

Charles thought about looking under the bed, but then decided not to since he just found a comfortable position. He would look later when he got up.

Jinx hoped he wouldn't move again

After spending about 2 hours in bed, Charles went and got something to eat.

Jinx was relieved when he finally left. at that point she had given up at hiding and decided it would be best to be visible when he came back. she was done thinking about everything and everyone. it didn't matter anymore, she wasn't going back to the lab, nothing could make her go back there. so she would never see Prof.McGreggor. she sighed and sat on the bed watching the tv

When Charles came back and saw Jinx on his bed he said, "Where have you been?"

[Fiamata]

"around" she said casually

[Zachman]

"Were you outside?"

[Fiamata]

"why?"

[Zachman]

"Because I looked all over for you."

[Fiamata]

"really"

[Zachman]

((hmm not really she is saying it in a way that isn't questioning but more like accepting it in a slight sceptical way))

"Yes really! Were you in here this whole time?"

[Fiamata]

she shrugged

[Zachman]

"Why didn't you come out earlier?"

[Fiamata]

"because"

[Zachman]

Charles sighed, knowing he couldn't get any further. He sat down on the edge of the bed. "Don't do it again. I was worried."

[Fiamata]

"sorry" she said, truly meaning it

[Zachman]

"It's ok. Just don't do it again."

[Fiamata]

she nodded

[Zachman]

Charles sat on the floor, watching the tv.

[Fiamata]

"why don't you sit on the bed?" she asked, she had been wondering for a long time why he slept on the floor when the bed was much more comfortable

[Zachman]

"Because."

[Fiamata]

she frowned "because why"

[Zachman]

"Because..." he said. He didn't really know why he shouldn't sit there. He got up and sat on the bed.

she looked at him, slightly confused, but decided not to say anything

Charles sat in silence.

"aren't we supposed to be in school?"

[Zachman]

"Yeah, but I couldn't find you so I stayed home, hoping you would come back."

[Fiamata]

She smiled, if she keeps doing this she wont have to go to school "I see"

[Zachman]

"Where were you hiding any way?"

[Fiamata]

"i wanted to think without distractions"

[Zachman]

"That's not what I asked. I asked where were you hiding."

[Fiamata]

"oh" she said, she had thought he said why. "around"

[Zachman]

"Where is around?"

[Fiamata]

"in the room"

[Zachman]

"Where in the room?"

[Fiamata]

"the bed, the closet, the bathroom, the treadmill, the tv...." she listed

[Zachman]

'The bed' Charles thought, cursing himself for not looking under the bed sooner. "Alright fine. Don't tell me. I already know anyway."

[Fiamata]

"doesn't matter if you know, the key is to not hide in the same place twice" she said, remembering the times in the lab

[Zachman]

"Well then, I won't look in the place you were hiding in before. I will look somewhere else."

[Fiamata]

she sighed. "so is this how you live, day after day" she asked

[Zachman]

"For now."

[Fiamata]

"for now?" she asked

[Zachman]

"Just for another year or so. Once I graduate, I hope to do something. Something big."

[Fiamata]

"like what" she asked

[Zachman]

"I don't know. I either want to invent something, or make something huge."

[Fiamata]

"why can't you invent something now?"

[Zachman]

"Not enough knowledge."
