The girl is the youngest of 3 girls. The other sisters pick on her in a sibling rivalry way. Their mother disappeared @10 years earlier, and their father spends his time collecting stamps even though they are short of money. They live in a big house outside of the village as there used to be money. The girl rides around on her bike and involves herself in finding clues to murders much to the exasperation of the local police inspector.
I have a vague feeling that the girl's last name was Luna or DaLune, though I can't remember for sure.
I think the book would have been for older children to adults.
Thank-you in advance for any help.
