I have read a book by Dutch author Caroline Huber. This book is now automatically added to the bibliography of another author named Caroline Huber who already had a book listed on Goodreads. Is there a way to separate these two different authors who share a name?

Yes. You can create a second author profile for the book you have read.
For that, go to the Edit details page of your book and put an extra space between the first name and the surname of the author, i.e. Caroline^^Huber while ^ means an empty space. If there is more than one book that is in the "wrong profile", you should edit the author name in all those books.
With that, we now have two profiles for two different authors.

I separated them for you Evelien; since the other Caroline Huber was lower down in a list of authors, I deleted her and added the name again with two spaces.
