Do you have a favorite site that features book preview videos?

Do you know of links to sites that host and promote author's of book preview videos?

Do you know of links to helpful tips and tricks sites that pertain to the "creation" or history of book preview videos?

There are tons of royalty-free music and images on the Internet, what are some of your favorite links to royalty content?

Do you know of links to sites of book preview video creators? Maybe we can invite the professional book preview video creators to give us some helpful information.

Please post any links that you happen across pertaining to book preview videos.

Christie Silvers (christiesilvers) I have a small list of places authors can upload their trailers. I go through the entire list anytime I have a new one to get out into the world. :-)

MySpace TV
YouTube (of course, lol)
Google Video
Yahoo Video
AOL Video
MSN Video
Veoh
Daily Motion
Blip.tv
Vimeo

I think that's all. I'm always coming across new ones though. :-)

Hey Gina, I think your "cyber-moving" has is contagious. I can't seem to leave things alone.

To keep things simple, I am adding the following request for links to this thread:

This is the thread is now also for posting links to helpful tools for creating or hosting an author's web site.

Do you know of an exceptional organization that offers hosting to "author created" web sites?

The best way to obtain a domain name?

Can you recommend alternatives to creating and hosting an actual site?

Links to sites that help with grammar and html codes?

Sites that promote author's web sites?

Links to your favorite webmasters.

Thanks TONS Christie,

Have you tracked the sales of your books in relationship to the "hits" on your book preview videos?

I was just curious as to how well they work as a marketing tool?

Christie Silvers (christiesilvers) No I haven't. I just make them and throw them up. LOL But I figure it can't hurt. :-)

Christie Silvers (christiesilvers) Have you gotten to the part where he tells her she smelled like a wet dog? That seems to be a favorite part for all the readers who contact me. LOL!

When I was reading your book, my two Labradors were cuddled next to me on the bed (and they had just been outside...and it had been raining)...so, I could REALLY relate to the wet dog statement :]

Eric bookscreening.com is a great resource.

Also, there is trailerspy, blazingtrailers, and Barnes and Noble has recently created a book trailer page.
