Ren found Krista unconscious in the Relax Room and is looking everywhere for Shane
Krista walked back in "Is it safe to come in?"
"Maybe... Probably. I just need some advil." Shane gets advil from the cabinet.
"Shane...we've got to talk" she said stepping in looking more like a normal girl no hippy clothes her hair perfectly curled
"Sure." He pops the pills in his mouth and lays back down, hoping it will help.
She bit her lip not really knowing where to start "I haven't been 'normal' since I was...unconscious"
He immediately sat up, causing his headache to worsen, "What's wrong, babe?"
"Lay back down you'll make it worse" she said adjusting his pillow
He remained sitting up, "Tell me more about this not normal thing."
She sighed "Alexa thinks that's it's a shadow person who's doing it"
"We don't know yet..." she took a deep breath "Lately i've been getting dizzy spells...I can't sleep anymore like it's impossible I hear people all around me mostly your dad my nature spells have been turning dark and in the green house my eyes glowed and I said I hated humans which I don't remember at all"
She slid onto the floor and burried her head in her knees
"Krista?" he gets off the bed and sits beside her, one hand on her back.
"I don't know what's wrong I just want to be normal..." she sniffed "Your Dad said you could cure me but how?"
Shane's eyes got wide, "My father? He never say anything like that."
She shook her head "He's telling me right now"
"But he..." He stops himself. He doesn't want to get into it right now.
She looked at him "Shane if I'm going to be ok you have to tell me everything!"
"When I was 7, I went to my uncle's lab and drank something that I thought was Gatorade. It wasn't. It gave my all these powers and I lost my sense of taste. The next day, my uncle found out and told me that he either he had to kill me or keep me in the lab for the rest of my life. I got so angry and next thing I know, My uncle's ashes are at my feet." Shane takes a breath.
She looked at him shocked then it finally clicked "Shane was your uncle your dad's brother?"
"Nope." he shook his head. His was glad that he stopped at that part of of the story.
"Shit" she said and frowned "Ok what happened with your dad?"
"Nothing much." he didn't like this part of the story.
Shane gulped, hoping she would believe it was just nothing.
She frowned then got extremely dizzy
"You ok babe?" He asks with a soft smile, trying to keep up the 'nothing happened' act.
She shook her head and rubbed her temples
"Do you need anything?" He frowned, sitting beside her.
She nodded "I need the rest of the story..."
"If I show you a secret will you tell me?" she asked practically begging
"Shane why can't you tell me?" she was extremely hurt "Do you not trust me?"
"I just don't trust myself. I'll hurt you." Shane gulped.
She looked him in the eye "No you won't." she held his hand
He pulled his hand away, "Yes I will. Don't agrue. Its not safe around me."
She grabbed it back "I don't care! I need your help please"
"Can we do this later?" Shane asks, grabbing his jacket and heading out the door.
She looked at him distraught she knew there wasn't much time
"Come to the forest with me, just in case." Shane sighs.
She grabbed his hand she felt instantly better whenever she touched him
Shane hated him father but he felt like a part of him was missing since he found out his father was gone. He loved his mom so that nearly tore him apart.
She went to the cabin but sat outside the door
"don't cry shane." he quietly said to himself.
