Just finished - just started
I finished Lords and Ladies then started Alice Parker's Metamorphosis finished that too so started The Real Walt Disney: A Biography as it's a paper back and I was having a bath. Need to decide on another to start on my kindle.
I finished Twisted by Jeffrey Deaver, enjoyed it and only guessed a couple of twists. Now trying to finish The Clinic by Jonathan Kellerman
I finished reading The Last English Village which I thoroughly enjoyed - a gently escapist tale.
I haven't started it yet, but I plan to give Gray Justice a go for kuf. I can't always cope with thrillers because I am quite nervy (like Mrs Bennett) and can't handle the tension! I'll see how I get on anyway..

I've finished Gray Justice now. I enjoyed some of it but found the ending too violent for my taste - but then I'm not really a thriller fan.
Now I've just downloaded The Tonic to read for our group read (I've given up on Wuthering Heights which I have read years ago anyway..)

I've just finished The Tonic and really enjoyed it!
Not sure what I will read next, something light...

im a little terrified to start that book in fear i won't remember any names. ill need to make notes.
Daves just started book three. He printed out a set of maps for it and I think he spends as much time studying the maps as he does reading the books.
I think there's a character tree in there as well. He's made himself quite the little booklet.
Would you lot like me to find out which website he found them on for you?
I loved the books and I didn't even need a character tree or a map. I did get confused with the characters in book 5 though, there were 2 new groups and I thought they were the same people which confused me greatly for a while.
Patti (Stir Crazy) wrote: "Naw... I'll make it sticky just for you, darling."Oh thank you Patti. Thats great!
Just finished Diary of a Parallel Man by Mahershalalhashbaz. Really liked the story but not sure I liked the ending. Don't want to add more for fear of spoilers for anyone who hasn't read it. Not sure what to start next.
I set aside The Midwife's Confession a few days ago to beta read Steve's new book.Went back to it last night but I'm afraid it's lost it's allure now. I'm only about 70% along yet all the little mysteries seem to be solved already.
Don't know if I want to face 30% of tieing up the plot threads. Would probably been alright if I'd not had a break from it.
Oh and you're quite welcome, Pat. I wish you'd mentioned it ages ago!
Please do let us know if you have any niggles with the group. Simon and I will always do our best to sort it, if we can. :)

I flicked to the end of my kindle and picked something to read that was hidden away in the bowels of my kindle books and have now started A Walk to Remember also found the notebook on there so might read that next. I loved the movie but makes me greet like a little girl

Just finished The Aeneid and A Room of One's Own. I may have to read a Western next - goodness knows how I'll find something, but they say it's good to stretch yourself. Who are these people who say these things...?
Finished Footprints on the Beach - Aleksandar Žiljak, was a nice relaxing story of love from 2 different time zones. Now I am going to read Abide with Me - Ian Ayris.

Just finished Only the Innocent which I enjoyed and will read more of her work. Just started Belinda Goes to Bath.
I have read Black Book by Ian Rankin this week and have nearly finished The Poet by Michael Connolly. Not sure what is next to be read, although I do know I will have to put the Kindle on charge before another day in the sun!!
Started and finished Civilization and Its Discontents by Sigmund Freud. A compelling read, in spite of his attitude to women and a few odd theories developed from what seemed like leaps of logic.
Finished Groomed for Death an amusing gentle murder if there is such a thing. Half way through Natural Causes I only started this one to see if it would be a good book for a quiz. Now I want to know why the poor girl suffered such a horible death.
Just finished Belinda Goes to Bath which I really enjoyed and just started All The Pretty Dead Girls.
I just finished Impeding Justice :o( I blame Mel for the insane sunburn I have on my back, and I have started Soul Music
