What movies are our members excited about? Is it in theaters now, is it coming out in a few months, or is it just one you haven't seen yet?

message 2: by Angela (new)

Angela Gokool | 121 comments I'm looking forward to the final installment of Harry Potter. It just opened on Friday, but I haven't seen it, yet. I haven't read the entire series, but I've seen all the movies up to this point.

I still haven't seen Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1, and now the very last movie of the series is out! It's the end of an era!

I'm also excited about the sequel to Sherlock Holmes that's supposed to be coming out this winter. The last movie left off on a cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

And this movie has been out for years, but I'm impatient for the chance to catch Reign of Fire on TV again. I saw half of it, and it looked really good, but alas! Not a single station is playing it!

I'm ready for the remake of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. The book rocked my world, and I'm dying to see if this version lives up to that standard. I still have to see the Swedish version, too.

Gemma | 153 comments Mod
I know! I was jumping up and down on the couch when I saw it! I hope it's as good as the first one!

message 8: by Artemis (new)

Artemis (artemisknight) | 77 comments Me too! I saw the trailer when I went to watch Contagion with my friends, and my friend who sat beside was as excited as I was so we were like poking each other while jumping up and down… XD

Has anyone seen The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo with Daniel Craig yet? I'm still waiting for it! :(

message 10: by Angela (new)

Angela Gokool | 121 comments My boyfriend and I are planning on seeing Joyful Noise. It looked really good in the previews.

message 11: by Artemis (new)

Artemis (artemisknight) | 77 comments I've heard of that movie~ tell me if it's good!

Daniel Craig… he's the guy that played James Bond and John L… something in Cowboys V. S. Aliens, right?

message 12: by Angela (new)

Angela Gokool | 121 comments Yes, he is.

message 13: by Artemis (new)

Artemis (artemisknight) | 77 comments Hmm... He's a pretty good actor.

message 14: by Anna (new)

Anna (SylviaGrant) Lincoln with with Joseph Gordon Leavitt. The Hobbit. Les Miserables the movie musical. Joseph Gordon Leavitt is my new favorite actor! He does an excellent job in every movie I have seen him in!! Such rare, young talent!

message 15: by Angela (new)

Angela Gokool | 121 comments I didn't get a chance to see Joyful Noise with my boyfriend. It's not playing anymore. Oh, well. Maybe we'll catch it on DVD.

message 16: by Anna (new)

Anna (SylviaGrant) I have heard it was terrible yet there were really great songs in it and plus the plot was bland. Angela, you are the sweetest angel I have personally known.

message 17: by Angela (new)

Angela Gokool | 121 comments I'd still like to see it, anyway. I thought it looked good in the previews. I don't know you, but thanks for the compliment!

message 18: by Anna (new)

Anna (SylviaGrant) Your welcome Angela!!

message 19: by Artemis (new)

Artemis (artemisknight) | 77 comments Joseph Gordon Levitt... He also played in Inception, didn't he?

message 20: by Gemma (new)

Gemma | 153 comments Mod
I don't know about that one...I just remember Leo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, and Michael Caine.

Holy Toledo, how could I have forgotten about The Hobbit and Les Mis?! Especially Les Mis?!?! Hugh Jackman singing again!!! :)

By the way, Catherine, have you seen JGL in Angels in the Outfield? That one's my favorite.

message 21: by Erin (new)

Erin (eareed) | 78 comments Yes, Joseph Gordon Levitt was Arthur in Inception. He's also in Manic, The Lookout, and (500) Days of Summer. Also in 50/50, which I am psyched to watch this weekend. Oh, and Mysterious Skin (the book of course was better) and Brick. If you like neo-noir, Brick is a must-see.

message 22: by Artemis (new)

Artemis (artemisknight) | 77 comments Yay! My memory served me right!

Artemis (artemisknight) | 77 comments Hugh Jackman... is in Van Helsing and Angier in the Presitge?!

message 25: by Erin (new)

Erin (eareed) | 78 comments Hugh Jackman is Van Helsing in Van Helsing

message 26: by Erin (new)

Erin (eareed) | 78 comments Guys, I'm ashamed to admit I'm on the Hunger Games bandwagon.

message 27: by Artemis (new)

Artemis (artemisknight) | 77 comments Yeah... Wow... Van Helsing came out when I was in gr. 3 or something and we went to see it in the cinema. Three months later, it was still giving me nightmares.

message 28: by Gemma (new)

Gemma | 153 comments Mod
Ah, Van Helsing...not big on originality, but still one of my faves.

I've still got to read Hunger Games, but it does sound intriguing. And I'm liking the commercials for The Woman in Black.

message 29: by Artemis (new)

Artemis (artemisknight) | 77 comments Me too... But the foreboding love triangle between Katniss, Peeta and Gale just keep on putting it off for me. After all, having to deal with Tessa, Will and Jem, Christine, Erik and Raoul, and then finally Misaki, Usui and Shintani is quite enough, thank you very much.

Angela Gokool | 121 comments Puss in Boots on DVD!

message 31: by Artemis (new)

Artemis (artemisknight) | 77 comments Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows out on Van945~

I know!! It's so amazing because not only do they have Gavroche finally cast but Aaron Tveit is Enjorlas!! if you think about it, I would rather had Ramin Karimloo instead but he will be amazing!!!!!!!!!!
