Kurai smiled coldly. "And indeed she will, if he doesn't explain himself right now, Zayne," she growled, whirling to face him. "What the hell?? This is what you do when I'm not around, hey?"

Zayne felt himself glare at Kurai. Calm down, he repeated to himself as he quickly changed his expression. He straightened his posture and looked her in the eye. "And?" he challenged, arching a brow.
"Ohh.." Peyton said quietly, the situation dawning on her. She backed away silently.
Kurai glanced back at the girl, but let it go. It wasn't her fault at all. It was that freaking cheating, lying, sneaky idiot Zayne's. "And this is what you all love?" she said, her voice dangerously soft.
Zayne mirrored her crossed arms. "Are you saying that you don't? Because that is not what i'm hearing." he said, trying to keep his cool.
Kurai smiled slightly. "Oh? So some random walked up to you, claimed I kissed some other random, and you threw a hissy fit and went to find a new girl, eh?" her smile disappeared as she spoke.
Zayne shot to his feet. "No, lots of people came up to me and told me u were kissing another guy thats not me." he said, his voice growing loud. "At first I didnt believe them, but after the 3rd person....well i'm sorry but I dont have that much faith in u."
Kurai couldn't help herself, her eyes filled with tears. "Zayne, I haven't kissed anyone but you!" she exclaimed. "I talked to one boy. One boy who was confused because his old love had been reincarnated or something. Do you think he would've kissed me?" she said, her voice rising. "Do you think I would've kissed him back, when I had a perfectly good boyfriend who said he loved me?"
Zayne blinked a few times and shook his head in frustration. "Then why would everyone keep telling those things? Because i'm sure if you guys just talked none of these rumors would have gotten this far. The fact that you flirted first makes it all that worse." he said, angrily.
Kurai closed her eyes, willing the tears away. "I don't know, Zayne. I don't freaking know, ok?" she choked. "But I do know I didn't flirt at all. You know I'm not that comfortable around guys. And I repeat, I had a perfectly good boyfriend who I believed loved me," she took a deep breath. "Had."
Zaynes heart sank as he heard her words. It didnt hit him that what he did would cause him to lose her til then and it hurt. Bad. "Kurai, I-I don't know what to believe." he said, quietly.
Kurai uncrossed her arms, her eyes dry. She felt strangely hollow. It occurred to her this was what she had felt like before she met him. "And I don't know how to make you believe me," she said softly.
Zayne bit his lip. "Does it even matter? Your not even to forgive me for what I did, are you?" he asked, sitting back down, his head in his hands.
Kurai shook her head with a sigh. "I love you, Zayne, I really do, but I'm not sure if I can deal with this. Relying on someone. Depending on them, but not knowing when your heart could be broken," she shrugged helplessly.
"Thats just it, I wasn't trying to!" he shouted, but didnt explain any further. He never had to deal with breaks like this, at least not ones that mattered to him. "I love you to, I do really, but i'm not perfect. I dont know what I'm doing. I've never had to depend on anyone either." he said and let out a short bitter laughed. "God, were a fucked up couple."
"You said it," she sighed, dusting herself off. "Can we stay friends? Please? I really... Sometimes I need someone to depend on," she said quietly, smiling bitterly. "In situations when psycho rapists are involved, usually."
Zaynes eyes widened. "Not Important? Are you insane!" he said, grasping her hand and pulling her towards him."Did he do anything to you?"
Kurai stiffened as he pulled her towards him. Oh, God... "No... He didn't get to. He was in my head, though," she shuddered slightly.
Kurai frowned in thought. "Um... Abaddon, it was. Don't go near him. He can control minds," she warned, skin burning where he held her.
"I down care! Who the hell does he think he is to be doing that to you? Let me catch him out alone in a dark alley." Zayne snapped, his emotions getting the better of him.
Kurai groaned suddenly, tilting her head to the sky. "God, Zayne, why do you have to do this..." she said quietly, before realizing he might take it the wrong way. "I mean..."
Kurai leaned forward, resting her head against his chest. "Make me fall in love with you," she whispered, so softly she wasn't sure if he would hear.
Zaynes heart beat faster as she laid against him. "I didnt realize i had." he joked, not being able to stop himself from wrapping his arms around her tiny body.
Kurai gave into him suddenly, wrapping her arms around his neck and tilting her head up. "We really are just..." she sighed helplessly. "I give up."
"Me to, I can't stay away." he said, kissing her softly. "You really drive me crazy, you know that?"
"So do you, Zayne..." she whispered, kissing him back without thinking about it. "God, you are so unbelievably sexy."
"I could say the same about you." he said, pulling her onto his lap. "Just promise me you wont make me jealous anymore. I do stupid things when I lose it." he said against her neck.
"Thank you," she smiled slightly, her arms tightening around his neck. "I'll try not to, Zayne. And will you promise to trust me, but give me my own space sometimes?" she managed, getting distracted by everything about him.
Zayne nodded. "Of course." he said, "But I cant guarantee the space thing." he joked, kissing her cheek.((g2g ! Bye-bye!! ))
((D: Aw, byebye!!!))Kurai rolled her arms. "If I don't get space, I'll just have to knock you out and find my own," she warned. "I'm not taking chances."
After swinging and talking to Amy, Dani left. She needed to go back to do her dorm. She needed to feed.
Silver and Cole walked into the playground and sat on the swings. There were many people there, kids, parents and the pets all playing together happily ignorant of the world.
Cole started to swing lightly brushing his feet across the ground.
Cole followed her gaze. "Yeah."
"I will never have that and i know. I have come to terms with it. " she said . "Happiness and i will never be. You arent like me. You can gain some piece of happiness to call your own"
"I'm still dead though..." Cole said.
Cole cocked his head. "I can."
"I guess I can, but doesn't necessarily mean I want too."
Cole shrugged. "I don't know."
