Parent Involvement

Recently we discussed SEOP plans for students. Given the family dynamics shared in the book, how as a counselor would you work/communicate with parents at the reservation school?

I think that it would be beneficial to even have meetings with parents and students at their homes. I know that it's often a hard thing to get parents into the schools, and if everyone lived relatively close together, i wonder if it would be of benefit to ask parents what their preference would be.
