Thank you everyone! It was a very nice birthday even though I did have to work today. There was cake and a new handbag that my Kindle fits nicely into, so sort of books! ;)Thank goodness the calories today didn't count!!!

Yum, our Texas peaches are really good this year. Juicy and pulls from the pit easily.
Pecos(Texas) cantalope are in now. Also good.
Last week I made a fruit bowl with cantalope, strawberries and black seedless grapes. I think this week I'll pick up a watermelon.
Summer fruit is great.

I just picked up some peaches at the local fruitstand that were labelled "New Jersey peaches." Now that I think about it, that just seems wrong! They must've seen me coming....Carol <---longing for Texas or Georgia peaches..
