Well, guess we were done with Claudine!
Yeah she was a bad Claudine. Eric was so funny. Sorry was all he could say. he he I don't get why the vampires are so slow. Pam is fast enough that in that basement scene with Lafayette she could have been on top of Tara and broke her neck and Jesus's too before th ho pulled the trigger. Then all the lamo's would have been dealt with at once. It's so frustrating. I wana see some vampires kick some ass. I really hope Bill is not involved with the old witch. I kind of don't think he is. It was nice to see Hoyt and Jessica hook up. I hope they have make up sex. Oh Crystal is giving Jason a litter?

Don't ever change :) If the vampires kick ass the way you want though, we wouldn't have any characters left, LOL!
I don't think Bill has anything to do with the witches. I don't think any of the vampires have anything but animosity for witches, especially necromancers - they are generally self-serving, and anyone with genuine power over them wouldn't stand as long as they could get fang to neck.
Yuck! I am hating Jessica and Bill this season. They are becoming too dysfunctional even for True Blood. And don't even get me started on the Hot Shot cats - too gross!
Well I have always liked Bill in books and the show. Until he pushed Eric into the cement. I thought that was very lame of him. I like Bill this season & Jessica too. Bill was like a Dad to her. All the cast has been OK. Except for Sams brother. The one who really needs to get offed. Oh well they got rid of the fairies convieneintly enough. I thought Claudine would be around for awhile causing trouble. Ops Sorry. : )

I would dance a jig if the show offed the fairies. CH only seemed to write them in more after she ran our of stuff to say about the established characters, anyway. True Blood had began by then, and she seemed hell-bound to make the books more gory to compete. What great retaliation if the show ignored them altogether. And I'm fine with Debbie. FOR NOW. But the Pelt's SORELY wore out their welcome in the books, so if nothing else, it's a nice homage to the written word if they are frequent guest-stars on the show from now on as well.
And King Bill has grown on me. Rewrite A+!
I miss Claudine. This Claudine had such a senseless death. At least in the books, her death had dignity. She went out fighting. What is up with that doll? That thing is creepy.
The hotshot panthers are too hillbilly for me. I felt sorry for Jason. All those women lined up to get it on with him. It is almost ironic in a way.
Debbie and Alcide back together was a surprise because I was pretty sure Sookie killed her in the series too. I don't buy her sweetness though. I think Alcide is very confused when it comes to his relationships with women.

Did ya'll see Sookie was reading a Charlaine Harris title at the kitchen table? Funny!
I'm wondering about the doll too Jayme. I like how Jessica gave it to Arlene's baby. That was a great scene.
Oh and I'm going to be diggin' the Eric and Sookie action. Hope they get to that soon!

You're welcome, Nicole! I don't know about the rest of you, but last night's episode has been the best of the season so far for me at least. The first two episodes left me a little worried, but I'm lovin' where this is all going!

Wait! Maybe that wasn't Claudine! What if it was the other sister?.. Ummm Claudette! What If she was the one that took Sookie to the faery world? She died before the short story Fairy Dust I think. I could be completely wrong, but who knows what Allan Ball thought up! Lol just thought I'd throw that out there.

Oh, and I loved Eric. Loved, loved, loved!! He is hilarious. Did you see him checking out Sookie during the whole episode? Loved the ending...Eric's 'sorry' face was just too adorable.
I think the "snookie" comment was annoying keep that crap out of our show (thank you for posting though Susan)! Unfortunately Claudine (although i liked the Claudette idea up there)~Jana~ has a lot more jobs to do but apparently she won't be doing them.....

What annoys me the most is that the books sold so why don't they keep the info. Dead to the World is one of the best books in the series.

Just watched the episode last night.Tiffany, I'm agreeing with you. I think that "Hallow" may be the chick we see Marney flashing into. I think she is going to envoke (watched too many witch movies) the younger girl we keep seeing, and become Hallow. Then the fun is going to begin with the witches.
Loved Pam this episode. Seems like she is already getting more air-time, and I'm liking it! Though she seems a little desperate to leave the capture of Marney to Jesus, Tara, and Lafayette. Obviously, that's not going to work out.
I am liking the fact that Debbie is still alive, sober, and back with Alcide. I have a feeling that sobriety will not last long. Maybe we will meet her psycho family.
Nicole - the doll thing totally freaked me out too! We know Hoyte's mom has a weird obsession with dolls, but is she the culprit that placed the doll there? It seems a little to obvious to be her, and the fact that it keeps re-apearing has me wondering....
And I think that is all for now.

I think they dated casually in the books, until Bill discovered that the Bellefleur's were his long lost relatives. I don't remember them having sex. But that particular thread doesn't seem to be necessary in the series. I am betting that in the TB universe they are not related at all.
That was so funny when Andy took vampire blood. LOL Bill dated around after Sookie left him. Went out with Portia a couple times. Found out he was related to the Belafluers whose house was all broken down. So Bill gave them all this cash to fix it up, and let them know they were relatives just before Portias wedding. This really pissed Sookie off. Bill never gaver her any extravagent gifts. Then Bill dated Celia Pumphries. I have read all the books. It's only been a couple few years but it seems so long ago now. In this Episode Sookie is supposed to kill Debbie Pelt who is living with Alcide. Looks like that wont happen.
Eric is so funy he just pounced on Claudine and drank her dry, and then said "Sorry!", and that was all. Claudine intimidated she was going to take Sookie back to Fairy by force. So I guess its a good thing. In the book Claudine was so way cool and was Sookie protector. Her death and Trays death were way big mistakes for Chaline to have done. Especially with Claudine pregnant. Too freaky. Bill got all silver poisoned fighting the killer bro and sister team that had sex together between bouts of torturing people. Then Bill struck the killer blow that took out the main bad ass fairy. Forget his name now. Freaky

Well no. I thought it was crazy in the books when the sister and family of Debbie Pelt came after Sookie, LOL. I think that was the book with Quinn and the weres.
I could see why they came after Sookie. They wanted revenge. That family was whacked and people do crazy things when they are crazy.
Well Debbie got everything she so righteously deserved, and so did her sister. The end of the Pelts.

Yeah, I think all the females at Hotshot were lining up to take their turn. They were all starting to have problems conceiving. That's probably why Crystal gave him the Viagra.
Trueblood jumps around so fast. It took me two episodes to figure out Andy was hooked on vamp blood. Marney is such a stupid old bitch. All those witches talking about freedom of religeon. What were they doing when Eric walked in but talking about raising a dead person when Eric walked in on them. Raty ring of punks. I hope Pam does it to em all. I will Fuck,Eat,and Kill you. Or some such frightening liteny. I think Bill is a good King. He was chosen by Nan for his humanity. However if you listen carefuly after he sentenced that young vamp to death. He is talking to Jess and you can hear the guy getting staked in the background. Kinda harsh I think. Those kids were just like a bunch of redneck kids with a coputer fur real. Eric and Bill made one major mistake. They should have given Russell Edgington the true death, and not just entombed him. I just know Debbie Pelt is going of the program too.
I don't like the 'new and improved' homemaking wannabe Debbie. Bleh. And I don't want her back with Alcide. I thought he was over and done with her. I hope Ball follows the books and has Debbie go off the deep end and Sookie disposes of her.

Actually, I think they're sort of combining her character with that of Selah Pumphrey, the real estate agent who dates Bill briefly in the books.
Bill doesn't date Portia in the books because he learns of his connection to the Bellefleurs at the end of book 2, while he's still (technically) with Sookie. For him to pursue a sexual relationship with Portia after that realization would just be disgusting.

I'm an open-minded kind of gal, but there are some lines that just shouldn't be crossed. Even Oedipus blinded himself when he realized, to his horror, that his wife was also his biological mother.

I looked it up (chapters 9 through 11 in Living Dead in Dallas ), and I concede: Portia and Bill go out together, but I wouldn't exactly call it a date. Portia asks Bill to meet with her in Monroe after Bill and Sookie get back from Dallas, under the guise that she had information concerning the weapons used to attack the vampires at Stan's nest in Dallas.
When Bill tells Sookie this, she correctly infers that Portia is attempting to get invited to the sex club that probably killed Lafayette, so she can clear Andy's name. Somehow, being seen with a vampire is one way to get invited; I don't recall the details of this, but that's what's inferred in these three chapters.
Portia actually felt uneasy around vampires in the books (or, at least, in this book). Also, Bill hated the Bellefleurs until he learns that they are his descendants (chapter 11) because the actions of their ancestor, Jebediah, directly contributed to the death of Bill's friend, Tolliver Humphries, on the battlefield.
Selah Pumphrey, however, is the real estate agent who does have a sexual relationship with Bill, after he and Sookie are no longer dating, in Dead as a Doornail . I think that TB Portia's character is partially based on Selah; for one thing, in the books, Portia (unfortunately) looks a lot like Andy, but Selah is slim and always put together...and kind of a snob.
Bill is a good cat. Ball has written some crazy ass things into the script such as, Debbie Pelt getting back with Alicide, Eric Killing Sookies Evil?/Protective? Fairy God mother. Bill sleeping with Porchia. All done to freak you out, and let you know that True Blood is different than the books. Bill screwed his great, great, great, grandaughter. If I was any of you all. I would not pursue my genetic tree back very far. LOL

There are some great one liners in this year's episodes, better than before. "You killed my Fairy Godmother!" was my favorite, second only to the comment that Pam made to Tara, Jesus, and Lafayette about finding her maker.
