Sarah (sarah5775) | 7 comments A poem:

On a Winter's Night

Soft moon bathes the snow in light
as the candles flicker.

Coldness grows in distant skies
and my heart beats quicker.

Winter's come and holds its sway
Autumn's colors gone.

Night is here, the end of day
but we must go on.

Just a little poem. Nothing too earth shattering. Hope you like it.

I love it, my efforts are more in the line of Pam Ayres, I use writing poetry as a way of clearing blocks. If I'm stuck I write a poem, some of them are a bit naughty!

I'm not into poetry, but I really did like that. For some reason, it worked on this sweltering July afternoon :).

Sarah (sarah5775) | 7 comments Gee thanks for all the feedback, guys :-)

I didn't even know there were 5 more reviews, for some reason I'm not getting alerts in my email! I am very encouraged by your opinions, thank you again.

Sarah (sarah5775) | 7 comments Posted one more at http://www.booksie.com/poetry/poetry/...

Found Booksie, a site where you can post writing. Does anybody mind if I post links to poetry of mine on there every now and then? I would be so very happy to get a few reads and comments.
