Danielle The Book Huntress (Wants to Read More) (gatadelafuente) | 143 comments Does anyone watch Supernatural? They have had some very strong angel storylines the last 3 seasons. What are your thoughts on their angel lore?

Amy ~Lover of Books~ No, I have not, but I have heard of the show before. I want to watch this show, but I have not got around to watching it yet.

S.L.J. (sammyslj) | 16 comments I love Supernatural and the way they portrayed Angels was brilliantly done. Castiel was so funny at times because he simply didn't understand humans.

I've always prefered stories where Angels aren't cute and fluffy beings but actual warriors of God. Lucifer, Gabriel and Balthazar were also great characters.

One of my fav lines:

Castiel: "I'm blocked...I'm powerless!"
Dean: "Well that's great because without your power you're basically just a baby in a trench coat."
Castiel looks away
Sam: "I think you hurt his feelings..."

Castiel: "It's very complex...If the pizza man truly loves this babysitter, why does he keep slapping her rear? Perhaps she's done something wrong..."
Dean: "You're watching porn? Why?"
Castiel: "It was there."

Aireene | 4 comments Yesssssssssss!!!!so love the show, they have unique episodes, not boring and it's scary. The characters Dean and Sam have strong personalities, the way the fought those angels and Satan in order to make their own decisions and to retain their humanity.......quite an inspiration eh

Cindy III I've thought of this before and I was looking at the post about Jesus as a main character here. Does anyone know why the writers haven't included him? I'm just wondering. It is probably better to leave him out.

Danielle The Book Huntress (Wants to Read More) (gatadelafuente) | 143 comments Personally, I get nervous when secular shows try to include Jesus in storylines. It is not typically done to my personal satisfaction.
