Clare so is anyone else noticing this? Is it a coincidence or did Journeyman writers/creators see the success of The TTW and create the show thinking to target that?

Also, in an other discussion, it was mentioned that somehow the Journeyman gets to time travel WITH his clothes. Hm...

Lena I'm curious about that as well. There are some major similarities, but there are some significant qualitative differences as well. Like Henry, Dan's traveling seems to be preceeded by certain physical symptoms, he has no control over where and when he goes, and there's no direct relationship between the amount of time he's gone from the present and the amount of time he spends in the past. But in addition to the TV-friendly choice of traveling with his clothes, Dan is able to change certain aspects of the future through his visits, whereas Henry couldn't change anything. Since the purpose of Dan's traveling actually seems to be changing the past, I'm interested to see what the rational for that turns out to be.

Lonnie After watching Journeyman I feel like it's a mix of TTW and the televison show Quantum Leap. I loved Quantum Leap and have enjoyed Journeyman so far. I'm a little disturbed Dan's brother seems to be so nosey and involved with their lives at times.

Tammie McElligott I loved this book and yep it was exactly what I thought of when I saw the previews for Journeyman. I can see the connection to Quantum to.

I don't doubt that it played somewhere in the writers minds.

Shanna I actually started watching Journeyman because I loved TTW so much, and the previews made me think of the book. They definitely have similarities and differences, but I'm hooked on Journeyman now...
