The mother and daughter keep moving and changing names. They are running from a corrupt father I think? The mother won't let the daughter do anything with music, because the mother or father were really good at it, and that was a way for him to find them? And they always picked their new names from going into the library ....the mother gets kidnapped in the end too....YA book.
