Our new book for July is a mystery with a twist. This is actually book #11 for Laura Lippman but you do not need to read the series to figure out what's going on. The book starts with a pregnant and bedridden Tess who, in a fit of boredom, decides to keep tabs on the dog walkers in the park across the street.

Her eye is caught by a particular girl in a green raincoat who is walking a dog in a matching one. When she sees the dog running free without its owner, she starts an investigation to find out where the missing girl went.

This week, we'll start with the first five chapters. This is a great light beach read. Have fun!
