On hating Hannah
yeah, she doesn't want to be known as Hannah Montana anymore, so the show is gonna be done in like the next year or two i think. i like hannah, but miley's way better
I really don't like using the two words 'hating Hannah' because you make an excellent point and it's my mother's name so, yeah, you make a really good point there.
thank you.ever since it came out, i always wondered why they picked the name Hannah Montana.
I mean rhyming's awesome when you're at Dr. Seuss level, but it gets old.
People called me Diana Indian and Diana Louisiana for awhile, adding more hate toward that show for me.
i mean, i don't hate her all that much personallyjust thought the show was SUPER stupid
i knowand so i feel sorry for her in a way
i mean, i don't know what i would do if they still called me Diana Indiana or something.
i'm personally just praying she won't end up like lindsay or paris.because her hate club, (i swear) will triple and she's already gotten enough as is.
although the role model thing has got to be tough as a teenager.
i would really suck at it
and the media is so sensitive and critical too
the one thing i like of her choices is that she's a veggie...
yeah, i have a thing about the medianow before i go too far, i just think the media takes everything they fine and over exaggerates it.
plus, no offense or anything but the majority of the media is liberal and im a conservative so we don't really get along in that aspect either.

i agree with your mom. almost all are just power hugry. the people who actually want to make a difference are out there doing it instead of spending lots of money trying to get elected.
yeah truethat's why i always ask my dad who's fairly educated on politics about it so i can form my opinions later when im actually a little more smarter about it.

I don't know whether I am democrat or republican since I agree with McCain on some things and other things I have to agree with Obama. I guess I can call myself independent.
First of all, Hannah AND Miley are both stupid, in my opinion. Miley needs to get her own life, she's just living in the shadow of her dad. Maybe when she's older I'll like her more, she'll be more independant and such.

MY topic's rules are so as long as it's not violating any of the truce wills, (although it's like the bible, you can interpret it your own way) you can rant.
she's saying that the rules of the truce seem different to different people.For instance, in my case, if you say something logical and reasonable that offends someone, that's not violating the truce because you weren't purposely trying to offend them.
In Katie's case, if you say something that may possibly slightly offend Miley Cyrus (who isn't in this group, FYI) then you broke the truce.
I'm sure I'll have hell to pay for that comment later, but it was worth it. : )
Anyway, it's all about perception.

Hannah isn't a real person. She is a fictional disguise made up with a cheap name.
So when making fun of Hannah can't hurt cause she's not a real person, just a cheap disguise. It's like making fun of a dummy.
Of course, unless Miley is in love with her little disguise, but that would be more like hurting her best (imaginary) friend.
