Ingy (ngnoah) It's a great book, really, but I've been away from science for a long time... It's been years since I read anything other than literature and history, many some philosophy, which made it a bit hard for me to get a grasp of all those informations in the book...
Nevertheless.. Hawking managed to review some of the most complicated and sophisticated theories in physics in a way to enable even someone like me to understand..

One thing I don't know if I got it right or wrong.. but in chapter (9), where he talked about the inconsistency or chaos that keeps appearing in the quantum theory (I didn't read the book in English so it's hard to reproduce all I read in another language, sorry!).. I read long ago about Chaos theory, and I think it has something to offer in this domain...

But what I enjoyed the most in this book.. even if I didn't understand everything clearly, is the fact that the human mind is capable of producing such complicated-yet simple- and sophisticated thoughts.. IT IS AMAZING!
That alone made me so happy with the book.. To see how human mind evolved.. and how humans ended up with such theories, just by paying attention to the world around them, to explain who we are, and how we ended up here.. These theories are magnificent..
Human curiosity, human mind, never fail to amaze me!
