Not all e-books are lending enabled. Here's how to determine if the e-books you've downloaded can be lent to others:

1. Log in to your BN.com account
2. Go to 'My Account' in the upper header and select 'My NOOK Library'
3. This will bring up a page will your active library. (There is navigation on the left to bring you to your archived library.)
4. Scroll through your books. At the bottom of each book that can be lent is a small icon that says 'Lend Me'.
5. To lend, just click on 'Lend Me' and enter the recipient's email address.

Please, note: You may lend each NOOKbook once. Your recipient has 7 days to accept or decline your offer and then up to 14 days to read. Once the NOOKbook is returned, you can download and read it again, however, you will be unable to access it while your recipient has it.

For more information, please, review the FAQs at BN.com: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/ebooks/...
