Poem
ALL THE LITTLE THINGS
UNDERNEATH A ROCK OF MY MIND
THAT BUG ME...
UGH, THE PAIN OF IT ALL.
MOTHER SAYS SHE UNDERSTANDS BUT
NOT AT ALL IN TRUTH.
RAINING DOWN ON ME
ALL THE THINGS I REALLY DON'T WANT
INSIDE TAKING A RIDE ON MY
NEAR-DEAD BACK.
COVERING MYSELF, NEVER TO
REVEAL ALL THE HURT INSIDE,
I FEEL AS THOUGH MY
CRACKED SPINE HATH
KILLED MY VERY
SOUL.
(SO THERE, IT'S DEAD.)
