Sci-fi fans are my absolute favourite as they are so passionate about what they love. I've not read much hardcore sci-fi - although I'm definitely going to try - but for the softcore option, I love Michael Grant's Gone series and Alex Scarrow's TimeRiders series. If you know of any good hardcore sci-fi please tell me about it!
