The walls are white. There is a pretty mahogany four poster bed. Some photos adorn the walls. A big window facing the sun.
Tv, bookshelf, rack filled with CDs and a large stereo system...
Ari opened the door and saw Cormac. "Hey... What brings you to the front of my room?" she asked.
"I brought muffins" He holds up the brown paper bag.
Ari smiled. "Thanks... To what do I owe this to?"
"How stupid of me! Come in!" She gestured him to sit on the couch on the side.
"Thanks" He smiled and stepped in he looked around "Minimalist, are we, lass?"
Ari shrugged. "I go by the motto Less Is More..."
"Oh? Interesting motto" He smiled and put the muffins on a glass plate.
Ari took one and offered some to Cormac.
"No thanks" He sat down and stretched out, linking his hand behind his head.
"So," Ari said, sitting next to him. "How's life?"
"I wish I could talk to my parents like you do..." Ari sighed.
"You don't need to be sorry. No, it's not your fault, is it? I mean, it's my fault. I went to that stupid party when I was fifteen, I got into the wrong crowd, I got drunk and went home with another guy who turned me. I don't even remember his face. It was my fault for not doing the right thing. Maybe if I had, none of this would have happened..." Ari had tears streaking her face.
"I did the same thing" He sighed.
Ari turned to him. "But at least you had the guts to tell your parents. At least now, you can speak to them. The day I left home, my youngest brother was 2. Sometimes I wonder if he still remembers me. Do my parents miss me? I don't know..."
"I didn't tell them. They figured it out" He sighs
"I never went back home after I turned." Ari sighed, tears streaming down her cheeks. She turned to Cormac. "I'm so glad I can share this with you. You're the first real friend I've had in ages."
Ari hugged him. "Thank you," she whispered.
He hugged her back and smiled. "Not a problem"
Ari looked back at him. Her heart seemed lighter after she had poured out her feelings to him. "You're a great friend," she said, punching him lightly in the arm.
He laughed "So are you" He sighed "I'm seriously thinking of feeding. But I feel fat when I feed to much" He frowned .

"Aye, Macca Pacca!" she said, feigning his accent. Then she burst into laughter.

"Top o' th' mornin', lassie" He said, head held high.
