Thought I'd start a thread for this discussion. I'm about 60 pages in and am surprised that it's not too slow of a read...

Donna (ljldml) | 16 comments Still waiting for the book from the library. It's not available from my local library, they have to borrow the book from another library. I'll start reading it as soon as I receive the book

Finished the book today. It was pretty good, but didn't offer anything difinitive as to what really happened (as I say in my review).

Though I don't doubt that the English agents were some how involved, it's hard to say whether Rasputin's murder may have been sanctioned by England, as the author suggests. Thoughts?

I also felt the book ended very abruptly. I mean, it had the aftermath chapter, but them boom, Rayner burned his papers before he died. Fin. Wierd?
