Ape | 2 comments Hi all. Can anyone recommend any good fiction set on the Shetlands? The only one I've read was Sacrifice by S J Bolton which... hmmm... wasn't impressed to be honest.

Sir Walter Scott's novel *The Pirate* is set in the Shetlands. Also *North Star* by Hammond Innes.

Barbara (bdegar) I just spotted this post. Ann Cleeves Shetland Quartet featuring White Nights, Red Bones, Raven Black, Blue Lightning and to be released in Jan 2013 Dead Water
