I have entered quite a few in my time but wondering if anyone has any ideas on websites that feature competitions - my latest big win was a £500 farmstay holiday in Cornwall which gave me the chance to go to part of the UK I had previously not been and take my little ones on a much needed holiday - won that one through a 'send your name/address' internet comp, which was nice!

win a few free books like last week lol and also won last year the irvine welsh comp to have a character named after me
Oh yes I remember you winning the Irvine Welsh comp that was very unique - they say entering local newspaper comps are always a good bet as often not many entries and sometimes more prizes than entried - I found that out last year, entered a comp ONCE to win £25 of garden centre vouchers and won twice so £50 vouchers for me!!! lol.
I have sometimes entered the giveaways here, but they're not really a competiton. You get a copy in return for a review. I haven't got anything yet though. I might start entering my local newspaper's comps now though.
local newspapers well worth a shot - and tie breaker/photo entry comps etc as most people won't bother with a comp that takes effort - I won a trip to Blackpool in a tiebreaker comp in local paper years ago. I subscribe to a Comping Mag though so am a bit of an addict, though I go through stages -one minute I enter loads and then none for ages - some people treat it like a job though and have won 10 holidays, 2 cars etc. People often say to me that they never win but when you say do you ever enter they say No...lol. Gotta be in it to win it! I didn't know there were giveaways on here I'll check those out - thanks!
