Andy One of the foster mothers listens to Leonard Cohen. I like Leonard Cohen a lot (the 60s and 70s stuff), and I think it would probably make for good music while reading the book. But I don't really listen to music while reading. Every once in a while, I guess I do. I wonder if other people listen to music while reading?

kate classical, no words, just sounds to drown out all the other annoying noises that could distract me from bathing in the book.

Jennifer I prefer to have as little noise as possible while reading. I just can't pay attention to the book as well as music; a word will catch my ear and I lose my place. My husband, on the other hand, prefers to listen to music, any music, while reading.

Ruby Hollyberry Doesn't matter if there's music if I like what I'm reading - my ears shut down and I won't hear it. On the other hand if I'm studying something for a course, I prefer no music to distract me.
