"So whats up?" she asked. "This year seems to be starting off crazy." she said.

"Yeah, I paid for a new textbook because the one I got fell into five pieces," hissed Rosalie.

"Really?" Dorinda said in shock. "Wow. They shuld have given you a new one."

"My teacher didn't have any extras. He's my last period teacher so all the books were gone. I bought one at Target."

[Kiara]

"Target? I should go there then. My S.S. book is about to fall apart." she said

"They give us crappy books. I don't understand why they don't have any funds to buy new ones every four years. They do it every ten."

She pointed to a date in her book that said 1999

"Whoa. You'd think they would with all they updated technology, too." she said

"This book is so old fashioned I can't understand it."

"Isth that righteth?" she said laughing

Dorinda started laughing really loud till someoone shushed her. "Is that from the 18th century?" she asked. "Check the date."

She couldn't help but laugh. "Oh god, that book might as well have been made during the revolutionary war."
