Rebecca That's not the cover for ISBN: 0440904196 but it won't let me fix it because I don't have librarian status.

The Barnes and Noble site has the proper cover.

The image itself is located at: http://images.barnesandnoble.com/imag...

Maybe other people don't care, but I like to list the actual edition of each book I've read and be able to see the cover I came to know it by.

Could someone with librarian status please fix this? Thank you!

Rebecca also... this is the cover for the version I read in elementary school, but I can't manually add it, because I don't know the ISBN or publication info. Does anyone still have a copy of this version, or access to the data?

Ursula I'm glad thats not the cover of the book I read and loved in elementary school. Characters are definitely more inclusive in black and white print.

Alisha i remember reading this book as a child and being completely confused by it. her father dies, and then she has some sort of realization about the date and time of his death and when she saw him last- but she never actually tells you what it is. i didn't get it as a kid- does anyone remember what she realized? it's been driving me crazy.

tj I think you are thinking of a different book.

Dana Alisha is definitely thinking of a different book. This was my favorite book growing up - I must've read it a dozen times! Poor Margaret - so confused by puberty!

Darice are you thinking of Tiger Eyes, maybe?
