Kasi yung sa Middlesex nagulat ako at O.E. ako out of nowhere. :D

Gawd, why did I not read this earlier? It's good. But I'll be more than happy to join you on the Q&A in October, if you'll have me. :)

SOBRA!
"Yes! Join us Louize. :)DIBA. TEARS. o_o

What are the rules again for the buddy-read for this one? Sa blogs magpopost ng notes right? :)
@Monique: We would review it all at the same time. For example, this week we would be reading chapters 1-5 for three days. After that Tina would give us questions to answer and we will be posting it all at the same time on friday linking each others review about the said chapter. Rules talaga atty.? hehehe. :) Tina says that we could start with this on Oct. 1st week.
Sounds like a blog-based buddy read to me, with the Q&A portion. I guess the questions will sound like the ones on those reading group guides found at the back of some books.I'd like to join, but I don't know the book (hehe), and I'm trying to finish my last dozen of books for 2011.
@K.D.: You can join us if you want! May e-book copy c Aldrin nung book. Finorward nya sa akin. I can e-mail you a copy of A Monster Calls. :) I know may tumblr ka kuya. hehehe
Si Kuya Doni, may tumblr??? html pleeease! Haha! Ariel and Tina, maybe I can join if it's just light reading. I'll let you know next week because Angus and I are reading Gone With The Wind also on October. :)
A. Monique: Private daw Tumblr ni Kuya, haha. Baka raw kasi malapastangan.Ariel: I'll pass muna. I'd like to focus on Gone with the Wind. I hope there's a next time though, :)
Pang-back up lang pag nawala ang GR haha. I tried once, masakit sa mata.
:D Monique: Light reading = if you mean the writing, yes. :D Themes, not so much. Haha. It's not really fantasy though, so no heavy world building. :)
Ariel: Excited ka lang talaga diba. Haha. I have a week to prepare the questions, sige mag reread na ko. :P
Tina: Wag!

Haha. :D
Friends participating in A Monster Calls, I will start the thread soon! I'm re-reading it na, and we'll have questions, etc etc ready before this week ends. :D

Anybody interested in reading "An Infinite Jest" by David Foster Wallace? I've always wanted to read it and tried a few times but it's just so long....I'm thinking the only way I can get through it is if I read it with other people....

I am not sure, but I've read somewhere that it should have been entitled Infinite Footnotes, hahaha. Regarding Ulysses, when do you want to start? Gulp.

Oo nga! Gulat ko na lang when I read that this morning on Twitter. I don't know, but maybe Kim Kardashian might be one of the Midnight Children, that's why Rushdie's keeping track of her life .
