Every Rp topic needs to have a background story. Something that describes the world that you fantasized, sets the boundaries of ones character and behavour. This is necesarry to keep order in the group, and this practice has been used in many RP forums throughout the net.
It may seem intimidating, having something bind your fantasy, but really in the end it only makes it better. What's a game without rules? The answer is easy. It's chaos, disorder and randomness.
It is called Role Play because it is close to being a game. The term emerged from "RPG - Role Play Game", the old style of it, not the new ones. The time where you took a piece of paper, some colour pencils and drew a world with its own rules and stories. Obviously it was a game so they played with dice and other things of the sort.
And that is what I am trying to offer. A organized and under control rp.

I can see a small problem with realism here. So to make it easier to understand, I'll post these 2 simple rules.

1) If you do not have a certain skill in your character info, then you are not able to use it in any way.

2) If you have only one skill, then you are incredibly good at it. If you have two you are average at both. If you have three you are barely acceptable at the three. And if you have four then you barely know how to use all four.
This means you can not be an uber powerful mage that can destroy everything arround him, as well as kill 100 men on a battlefield all by yourself.
