Kristin I think it depends if it feels unfinished for the author. Some books need more development with the idea or character because the reader is left hanging or wonders what happened to or what if.....So, what do you like to develop? the person, place or plot?
Winter Garden was one of those books that when I got to the last page I thought, "darn! It's over." I wished it didn't have to end. So I think a sequel to Winter Garden where the two sisters connect more with the sister they never knew they had until the end of the story could be very interesting.
I would love to see a sequel to Night Road, or maybe even a book about grace’s life as she grows older. I ready this book my sophomore year in high school and fell absolutely in love with it, now here I am, a sophomore in college and just finished the book in a day and I still love it! I can imagine my own ending for this couple, this family, but reading an all new and life that you’ve pictured for them would be equally as amazing.
I would love to see a sequel to Night Road and see what happens with Zach and Lexi and Grace...are there more children, how does Grace feel when she is older and learns where her mother was for the beginning part of her life and why she was there...
