Debbie Moorhouse I have my "read" shelf listed alphabetically by author, except that CS Lewis's The Horse and his Boy keeps appearing at the top, above all the A's.

I don't understand!

Bree (coffeebeanbookshelf) | 124 comments My guess would be that it's because the author's name is just initials (C. S.). I also noticed that Crash by J. G. Ballard is showing up that way for you as well.

Debbie Moorhouse Ah, yeah, that would make sense. Thanks! I just added Crash and noticed that Horse and His Boy now had a friend, lol.

Debbie Moorhouse They're gone, now. Guess they got embarrassed by all the attention!

Maria Elmvang (Kiwiria) | 377 comments There might be an errant initial space - you wouldn't be able to see it, but it'd mean the authors jumped to the top of the alphabet.

Yes, sometimes spaces after the author name will mess the sorting up. You can only see them while editing the author.
