Questions for UKL

One thing I wanted to point out is that UKL is definitely on Goodreads, at least sometimes. So she may find our group interesting enough to look in on from time to time, though she's said she doesn't want to take part in give and take discussions with readers. But just in case she ever does care to answer any questions we have for her, here's a place to post them. Alternately, some one of us might get a chance to interview her someday, and this might be a good way to keep up with things we're curious about that we wouldn't want to forget to ask her, if that ever happens.

My first question is about the Annals of the Western Shore books. (view spoiler)[Is Gavir's beloved wife, upon whose behest he's writing the memoir that is Powers in fact Memer from the book Voices that he seems so taken with at the end? If not, it's maybe a bit inconsiderate for him to point out so clearly to his actual wife how very fascinating he found Memer's hair, voice, and mind and so on. If so, it may be meant to be obvious, but it's not at all to me at least, though I hope it's true. Best of all, perhaps there's another Western Shore book in the works that would tell more about all four main characters and what they do next. That's my fondest hope. (hide spoiler)] So which is it?
