Lori (barfield) You're kidding right? Don't you know what kind of hell Paul Sheldon goes through? LOL Not me, not in Misery! No way, no how. ***shaking my head***

Ryne Pearson (ryne_douglas_pearson) | 11 comments I'd love to be Ben in IT. I love clowns.

message 53: by Erick (new)

Erick Burnham | 42 comments I would be the narrator; he always seems to come out relatively unscathed.

message 54: by Wendy-Lynn (new)

Wendy-Lynn Ellie's cat Church in Pet Semetary since this is my favorite Stephen King book.

message 55: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) Yeh i can see being Ben. He grows up to be handsome, slim, rich, and he gets the girl. Way to go Ben!

My thinking exactly!

message 58: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) I wouldn't mind being Sue Snell from Carrie. She's just about the only one who lives, and still got to see all the destruction.

So well said :] That's why The Stand would also be my choice.

R. Deschain 19 (rdeschain19) | 5 comments I'd love to be Roland Deschain.

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 612 comments First choice would definitely be the Stand, I mean, having the whole big world suddenly less crowded and you could go out to any store and get anything you wanted, and pick out a nice house... sure it'd be work, but if you were resourceful, you could have a pretty good life. I'd plant a garden, go out and collect any book I wanted, travel around... Not that I'm for massive amounts of people dying, not at all :)
My second choice would be Eyes of the Dragon. I love medieval things, and if Flagg were gone, it'd be great.

Eeyore | 2 comments It by Stephen King

I want to be one of The Losers also.

Erica (bookpsycho) | 109 comments Cycle of The Werewolf! Kick some werewolf arse, or at least try to!

message 64: by Brandon (new)

Brandon (brandonsears) That's a hard question to answer. I think I'd like to be in The Stand..but something tells me, I wouldn't be in it for long.

message 65: by Deborah (new)

Deborah (neudawn) I would like to be in Duma Key...I love art and there was just something about that book that appeals to me.

message 66: by Victor (new)

Victor Pet Sematary. I just wouldn't bury my pets!

I agree with Kit. It would have to be The Stand for me as well. I love apocalyptic books because I'm always interested in how the people survive such an extreme change. And I too always wonder if I would be able to "adapt." The problem with the whole "go to the store thing" is that eventually all those things run out. There is no one left to to manufacture everything that's involved with food (which actually wouldn't be a bad thing). So you'd have to eat from a garden of your own making. The part that gets me is that most people, myself included have no idea how to kill a chicken, how to pluck it, divide it for cooking, etc.

That's why I happen to keep some books on hand with all that information...just in case. LOL! Too much reading of SK books I guess!

message 68: by Barbra (new)

Barbra | 3 comments I would be Lisey, in Lisey's Story. Such a tragic and bizarre and "King twisted" idea for a love story with a "no matter what, it's me and you" theme that just spoke to me...

message 69: by April (new)

April | 13 comments Barbara, I LOVED Lisey's Story by Stephen King . I agree, it was a great love story. It is one of my favorite books.

message 70: by Chris (new)

Chris (bibliophile85) | 83 comments I would have loved to have been a part of Roland & Company's ka-tet.

The Dark Tower saga and its supporting novels have always spoken to me on a level no other series has. It is the most haunting, magical series of books I have had the pleasure of reading.

Nina (mechanicalnina) | 21 comments It. I think I could help take that thing on. Or The Stand or The Cell. I am with the others who said that they always thought they had what it took to make it through the apocalypse.

message 74: by Alondra (new)

Alondra Miller The Long Walk... I think I could do it... I would be half-mad and drooling; but I can walk.

message 75: by Jenn (new)

Jenn I'd say The Stand most likely. I have a Stu Redman type of personality

message 76: by Amy (new)

Amy Smith (theatricallydesigned) | 9 comments I have to agree with what i see to be as the majority and be one of the losers club. Though i also think it would be awesome to be Travellin Jack :)

message 79: by Supernova (new)

Supernova (supernovareads) | 65 comments Don't think I'd have liked to have been in any book seeing as though most of them are horrors. Maybe The Body. It would have been good to be a part of a friendship group like that on an epic journey.

message 80: by Ethan (new)

Ethan | 152 comments I actually kinda enjoy the whole NOT dying a horrible death thing. So I'll say none of them.

I would have embraced The Beatles at the beginning instead of in 1989 when I was 5.
I've never known a world with John Lennon.
