I think The Gunslinger for sure... I'd love to have seen Roland and his crew in training, learning their skills. Maybe been a character that got to know Roland before his life turned so dark.

long summer days, buildin' the club house, hangin' out in the woods ... even being scared / doing battle with the bullies is appealing if you're doing it as part of a group
I identify with Beverly - a lot :o)
and c'mon guys - we're all walkin' around in red shirts whether we're in a King book or not ;o)

Hmmmm....that rules out everything except perhaps The Talisman or Eyes of the Dragon.

And maybe Firestarter. I don't know who I would want to be, but I love that book.

I love Vampires! Though I don't know that I would want to live forever. Seems like it might get lonely.

Yeah, vampires always scared me because it seemed like it was a really lonely existence.

I don't think i could be in Salem's Lot. I would wake up and forget i was a vamp, and go outside in the sun to explode.

If any it would be Hearts in Atlantis, just because it's not so much as a frightening-everyone-dies story as much as life lessons.
