Pretties

I don't know if I am alone, but I really loved Pretties and liked it better than Uglies. I felt that Uglies was half exposition and it took forever to get to even the rising action much less the climax... Pretties, however, since you already had everything set up, it was action and tension and conflict, right from the beginning and I just felt that it had more suspense than the first...

Did anyone else feel this way too?

i'm not even halfway through Pretties, but I already know that I won't be able to finish this book. I just can't get into it. It's slightly annoying.

I'm listening to it on audiobook- maybe that makes the difference...

yeah, they say to give a book at least 75 pages before you toss it aside, i'm already 90 pages in and it's so hard to read it. >.<
