Lee | 181 comments Hi gang,- Lee - reporting for duty.

I thought I'd quit lurking & join the group. I've belonged to the HA ( Horror Aficionado's ) group for the past two plus years. But if you take a look at my book shelf...I have read & read a lot of mysteries & thrillers also.

Currently reading Black Money Archer #13

Welcome to our group. Am I right did Paul Newman star in the drowning pool??

message 8: by Lee (new)

Lee | 181 comments You are correct Stan.

Harper was first ('66) Drowning Pool ('75)

I've never looked it up, but I wonder if MacDonald didn't want then to use Archer as his name? It was Lew Harper, in the movies.

Linda Boyd (boydlinda95gmailcom) | 335 comments Hi Lee!! I checked out your book list, I also love Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I plan to start reading the Repairman Jack series and Monkeewrench series. I am anal with series though, I have to read them in order, which is causing a delay for me to start The Repairman Jack series. I have a few hardbacks and will download some on my Nook before I will be able to get started. Welcome to the group!!

Lee | 181 comments Thanks, Linda!

I have a feeling I may be more anal then you ,when it comes to reading a series! :) Like to follow the characters along their order!

I've read the first two in the Monkeewrench series, good stuff up in the Minneapolis area.

I'm reading Song of Susannah now, great saga. One more after this one!
