This, and I'm just spitballing here, is an Idea I'd had a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago. So a Guy merman is born, and his BFF is a Mermaid.(beached) And He finds out. He's mad at her, but she is in love with him. The stipid git gets himself caught and she has to save him.
