Alex Okay, full disclosure: I haven't actually read this thing yet. I just wanted to own it. I'll get to it sometime this year, theoretically at least.

Anyway: The Landmark Herodotus is a stunning edition of the work, with maps on like every other page.

There are similar landmark editions of Thucydides and Xenophon.

Huh. Silly Amazon link took me to the Kindle edition. Kinda not what one would want for this, eh?

Alex Ha...I can't believe they'd even make a Kindle version of this. It's basically a coffee table book. Kindle would be disastrous.
