Pancakes. I don't think I have ever had waffles.

I like the thin waffles better. We specifically went on a search for a waffle maker that wasn't the Belgian kind.

1939, evidently.
1939, evidently.
I like them both. With tons of butter and syrup. Or tons of butter, some syrup, and pecans. Powdered sugar is not enough of a topping. They have to be soaked.

I am shocked Larry. That would make you several years older than my mother.

I am shocked too, Larry. This means you could be the same age as Margaret Thatcher, or Estes Kefauver.

Oh my. I think I'm going into a virtual diabetic coma. :)
I haven't had crepes in forever. We used to go to The Magic Pan - has anyone heard of it?

What is is t with you and Estes Kefauver?
I know these are Groucho Marx glasses but I think they must have used Estes Kefauver as the model.

I like my crepes with freshly squeezed lemon juice and a sprinkle of sugar.

I have one but I have a tendency to add too much baking powder and they always bubble out and all over.

Nope. Bananas and caramel.

Raspberry crepes from Cora’s."
Cora's has fantastic breakfasts! I'm so happy they're in Toronto now.
That said, beer pancakes for me.
Or crepes. Waffles are good too.
Yum. I'm hungry.
Zu puts thin slices of sharp cheddar cheese on her pancakes, along with the butter and syrup. I was skeptical, but it's actually delicious.

Michele, how do you post pictures? I want to show you my food-lidays with crepes!
Oh no.
At a Denny's in Chicopee, Massachusetts last weekend, a couple asked a woman in the next booth for her maple syrup. "Bitch, your pancakes look fine to me!" was the woman's response. And then they started hitting each other.

Hooley Dooley. That is bizarre.

I would have talked you out of eating at Denny's anyways Gail. So many good places to eat no need to waste it at a Denny's.
