I like the thin waffles better. We specifically went on a search for a waffle maker that wasn't the Belgian kind.

I had my first Belgian waffle at the World's Fair in New York in 19 mumble mumble. It was heavenly. I like pancakes, too, though.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes with lots of whipped cream are quite yummy though.

I like them both. With tons of butter and syrup. Or tons of butter, some syrup, and pecans. Powdered sugar is not enough of a topping. They have to be soaked.

Crepes! with cream cheese filling & a lemon syrup. And Dutch Babies (but we've had that discussion, haven't we?) with lots of butter & raspberries & maybe even choc chips. Belgian waffles are scrumptuous with a berry syrup & whipped cream. Pancakes are good when you've been out playing all night & get a giant stack with crispy bacon & sausage at the local Pancake House at 3 am.

Oh my. I think I'm going into a virtual diabetic coma. :)

Zu puts thin slices of sharp cheddar cheese on her pancakes, along with the butter and syrup. I was skeptical, but it's actually delicious.

We have a restaurant in my town called La Creperie. They have amazing dessert crepes, but their dinner crepes are good as well. I get one stuffed with chicken in a wine and butter sauce that is so divine.

crepes. I can fill them with lots of different things. They can be breakfast, lunch, dinner. My crepes filled with ham and pineapple for summer supper is delicious. Unfortunately, my brother in law can't eat ham on his restricted diet.
