This book has two titles but it's really unclear as to why. The cover says the title is "Fast Fabric Gifts" which is the name of the book given on Amazon. However, when you search on Amazon for the title in the Goodreads' record which is Sew Pretty Little Luxuries, the same book comes up. If you scroll down to the Product Description, that same Amazon record for Fast Fabric Gifts is talking about the book Sew Pretty Little Luxuries as though that were the title of the book. No other book with that title comes up on either Amazon or Goodreads.

I checked the inside of the book on Amazon and there wasn't a title listed on the copyright page. However, it did say publication data was available at the British Library. Perhaps this is a version thing? But it's very confusing.

Anyway, what title should the book have? I went to look at it because Doubleday Book Club had it for sale (as Pretty Fabric Gifts) so it's currently for sale with that title.

Cait (tigercait) | 5005 comments I'm looking into this -- it might be that those are alternate titles, or it might be a reused ISBN -- but I just wanted to share that WorldCat has it flipped: "Fast fabric gifts" as the title and "Sew pretty little luxuries" as the cover!

Cait (tigercait) | 5005 comments Okay, as nearly as I can determine it was originally published as "Sew Pretty Little Luxuries" and reprinted with the same ISBN as "Fast Fabric Gifts". I've changed the name of the main record to "Fast Fabric Gifts", since that seems to be what the one review is for, and added "Sew Pretty Little Luxuries" as an alternate. Do that look right?

ETA: In fact, it looks like the same thing was done with her other book! Apparently Davd & Charles Publishing is one to look out for.

Kelly H. (Maybedog) (maybedog) | 36 comments Weird. Thanks so much for fixing it, Cait!
