Tulara (iberostar) | 233 comments I read an article today by Laura Miller in Salon. It was about the number of books being written/published/reviewed by women. I remember one year I vowed to read only books written by women - no cookbooks, self-help, childcare, beauty or diet books - just fiction and non-fiction.
I did pretty well, but putting that together with 50 books a year - would that be a neat challenge for myself?
I've already read four books - two by men and two by women. I think I will finish the my list by only reading women authors - anyone want to join?

Susanna (jb_slasher) I'm following the 1001 Books list and my top priority is to read women authors on that list. But right now I'm reading through the 25 Books To Read Before Age 25 list and unfortunately there are only 3 women authors on that list. I should read more female authors, anyway. Almost all my favourite authors are men.
