I have a very bright 15 year old daughter who is a reluctant reader. She hates it and I was hoping someone had ideas to really spark her interest. She isn't interested in reading the Twilight Saga although she likes the movies, same with Harry.

Cara (krazykittylady) | 6 comments Hi Ronda!
My daughter is turning 14 and will have some great ideas for you - she is also a member of this group and reads a variety of genres. I'll put her on it!

Maddie (madcartney) | 5 comments Let's see...
The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins (AMAZING, movie coming out next year)
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson (INCREDIBLE book)
The Maximum Ride series by James Patterson (MESMERIZING...I LOVE THESE BOOKS!)
Fallen by Lauren Kate (Pretty good....compelling.)
The Immortals series by Alyson Noel (Really fast, good reads)
Percy Jackson and the Olympians series (Great series!)
the Pretty Little Liars series (VERY good, but the last book was pretty sad)
I will post more if I can think of any!

Tracy (tracy_r) | 12 comments Ronda, she may enjoy some of the Diary of a Teenage Girl series by Carlson. Also, maybe Soul Surfer by Bethany Hamilton...
