Can anyone explain tell me?

Silver The Ides of March means the 15th of March. It is the first day of the Roman New Year, and also the first day of spring on the Roman calendar. As well it was the day Julius Caesar was assinated.

I have both March reads on my bookshelf so that def helps me in my book challenge!!
I hear many good things about The Red Tent

I wasn't crazy about Barry's other book that we read last year A Long Long Way but I hear this one is different.
