This is the TOC and syllabus for the book and audiobook - Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel. Garret has kindly laid out the table of contents with the parts, chapters and page numbers for the paperback copy of the selection, then he laid out the audio breaks for the audio version; and then finally if all of this was not enough; he segmented the book as to where you should be if you are using a Kindle. Great job Garret.

This is an audio selection so the book is broken into 3 audio selections based on an audible download. I also give the corresponding 3 breaks in Kindle and the page numbers for the paperback edition.

The audio edition is 3 roughly 8 hour sections (approximately 24 hours). So each part of an audible download should take a little over 4 weeks.

Michael Flanagan (loboz) Great job in breaking up Garret. I was wondering how it would work, scratching my head for hours. It all makes such perfect sense like this. A big thumbs up from me.

Michael, you will help out Garret and be a back up to him won't you in all of this. He is doing a great job.

Garret (ggannuch) Thanks Michael. I hope the breakdown works. I don't think there is a perfect way to do it.

Garret (ggannuch) Aligning the Wolf Hall Audiobook to the Printed and Kindle Ebook Editions

The ebook and printed book has 6 sections divided into 3 parts each. The audiobook has 3 parts divided into 7 chapters.

Here are the main guiders:
• Audiobook Part 1, Chapter 1 is page 3 in the hardback, about page 43 in the Nook, and mark 349 on the Kindle.
• Audiobook Part 2, Chapter 1 is page 152 of the hardback and mark 3900 on the Kindle.
• Audiobook Part 3, Chapter 1 is the middle of page 352 of the hardback and mark 8889 on the Kindle.
The Nook's page locations are harder to determine, because Nook pages repaginate based on font choices. When using a Nook, keyword search by phrases during will help realign listening and reading if necessary.

Also if you use a mobile app for Audible (say, for example, a droid app) the chapters in the audible correspond to the chapters in the book and the section breaks don't occur as the do when listening to the audio selection as downloaded by Audible Manager.
