I am looking for historical fiction about Charlemagne. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thank-you Laura I will check it out.

Laura it seems that only the first one is worth reading if your interest is on historical aspects.

Marissa (smackmyskittles) | 2 comments The King's Nun by Catherine Monroe is a short, sweet historical novel about St. Amelia but Charlemagne's character figures greatly in the plot. It is thought that St. Amelia had an affair with him. I don't know if it's what you are looking for but it's a short read and I have a copy if you're interested.

Marissa (smackmyskittles) | 2 comments Oops! I didn't realize until after I posted this that the subtitle for this novel is "A Novel of King Charlemagne." I seem to remember it REALLY being about St. Amelia but I guess it's arguable. Here's a link to the goodreads book page.
