Simon | 9 comments Oh no! I was trying to be helpful and it appears I've created extra books instead of editions.

Mistake #1 should be combined with

Mistake #2 should be combined with

I could have sworn I chose 'Add a new edition'. Curses to my stupid fingers.

Also with I added the cover image but it isn't showing up. Maybe I mucked that up too. It's this:

Paula (paulaan) | 7029 comments Hi Simon

You did right for all - you created new editions they just needed to be combined with the other editions which I have done.

The cover is also now loaded.

Simon | 9 comments Hooray! Thanks. I didn't like the idea of my messing up the database. Glad I'm not a complete buffoon.

I wanted to add >Sui diritti delle donne to my shelf, but I was not able to find this no ISBN book, searching it by title. Does anyone know why? This book is combined to "A vindication of the rights of the woman". May we combine an Italian title with an English/American (or other language) one?
The risk is to create a duplicate if the search does not work. I noted that there is no similar issue for no ISBN books, when editions are not combined or the title is not translated.

Cait (tigercait) | 5005 comments Cristina, that sounds like a bug in the search function; you should report that (with the search string and the link to the book, as you had here) in the feedback group; it is definitely correct for that book to be combined with the same book in other languages, but you're quite right about the problems that are caused when books can't be found.

Thank you, Cait. I'll post the bug in the appropriate thread.
